The back of the plate states: "Uniquely created in layers of pigment and gold by Edna Hibel exclusively for this limited edition on pure hard-fire china under the hallmark of Edwin M Knowles. "Peaceful Kingdom" edition limited to a firing period closing forever on December 31, 1989.
The following is written in Edna Hibel's handwriting on the back of the plate:
"We look forward to Christmas as a welcome promise of peace . . . Edna Hibel"
This fine porcelain collectible plate measures approx 10 ¼”.
The PLATE is in MINT CONDITION -- no chips, cracks, repairs or other damage.
Small damage to 1 side of Original box, minor cosmetic
All proceeds from this auction are dedicated to pay for expenses of putting on this fully charitable event.
