This lovely plate was made by Royal Worcester and is fourth in a series of 12 plates by artist Dorothy Doughty, entitled Blackburnian Warbler & Western Hemlock.   It features a blackburnian warbler perched on a western hemlock.  The bird and surrounding foliage are raised from the background and are hand painted with wonderful detail.  The outer edge of the plate is scalloped with gold trim.  It comes in the original box.  The plate is in perfect, like new condition, the box shows some wear.
