This lovely plate was made by Royal Worcester and is second in a series of 12 plates by artist Dorothy Doughty, entitled Myrtle Warbler & Cherry.   It features a myrtle warbler perched in a cherry tree.  The bird and its surrounding foliage are raised from the background and are hand painted with wonderful detail.  The outer edge of the plate is scalloped with gold trim.  It comes in the original box.  The plate is in perfect condition, the box shows some wear.
