This is a romantic, delightful authentic original collector piece in Rob Sauber’s Portraits of American Brides for the Hamilton Collection, Curator Collection series. This series is a tribute to the brides of this nation’s most important historic and fashion eras. “ This lovely Victorian bride, ‘Jaqueline’, boasts afresh and lively American look while still drawing on the fashions of England for her snow-white wedding attire. Her dress is gathered in a bustle at the back, with a sort train attended by her flower girl. The bride’s headpiece trails the most delicate of see-through lace, and she carries a flouncy parasol to complete the ensemble.” (part of the The Hamilton Collection official description) This plate has 3mm – wide rim of 24K gold – plate is 91/4” diameter and was strictly limited to a 10-day period of firing. Plate Number 4860 M – Bradex # 84-C87-23.2. This plate has never been displayed; -it comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity in the original protector box.
