This is a beautiful 8 3/4 inch in diameter 1982 collector plate from beloved painter of children, Donald Zolan. The plate has been inscribed by hand and signed on the back with a magic marker. Unfortunately, some of this has been worn off and it is hard to read what the signature says, but it could very well be "Don." The title of this first issue in the "Wonder Of Childhood" plate collection is "Touching The Sky," and this is plate number 6967E in that issue. The plate was produced by Pemberton & Oaks in a firing schedule limited to 22 days. I do NOT have any of the original packaging or documentation (no COA). Condition: The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or crazing. I do not see any wear in the gold trim. There may be some very mild wear and discoloration on the bottom base ring.
