From Laurelwood of Bahama, NC in 2002, this beautiful Collector's plate is from a limited edition of only 150, and measures just over 8 inches in diameter at the rim. The plate is mounted in the included Van Hygan & Smythe Wood wall frame. With the frame, the diameter is 11 1/8 inches, and the frame is 1 inch thick (top to bottom). This 'Breed Plate' is for the Akita dog breed and has a great design by artist Dee Dee Murry, along with gold trim on the rim (hidden by the frame). I do not have a certificate or any of the original packaging for this plate. Shipping weight will be between 1 and 2 pounds and a large package (any side over 12 inches) will be required.

Condition: The condition of the plate is excellent with no chips, cracks, or crazing. I cannot find any scratches or wear in the design or trim. The bottom base ring also appears to be almost wear-free with some possible slight discoloration. The wooden frame has a couple scratches on the front, as well as two seams that appear as if the frame had been broken in two and glued back together.
