My mom paid $77.25 for this in 1979. It was part of a series. That's $252.20 in today's dollars. What were my parents thinking? Can you eat off leaded glass? If I sell it for $5.00, it's lost 98% of it's value. Why didn't they invest in Stocks or Bonds. If they had bought shares of Microsoft, I would be a millionaire! Okay, you shouldn't store liquids in leaded crystal, but it's safe to serve food on it. |
