ADORATON 3D PLATE AND BELL OF THE VIRGIN MARY
Beautiful Ceramic Collectors Plate stamped Ceramic Excelsis and titled ADORATION BY LIPPI. Fra Fillapo Lippi was a Renaissance artist his life span was 1406-1469. Stamped into the porcelain is the number 5000 and hand painted is #1487. This is an authentic first issue in an annual series that comprised a master piece collection. Only 5,000 pieces crafted making this one of the first at #1487. Has logo sticker of RR Roman Mexico. The border has grapevines and the year 1979. Touches of gold paint added highlights to this piece. Plate measures approximately 9 1/4" in diameter. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Matching bell, stamped with # C33, with gold trim and the year 1979 stamped into porcelain.
