Collector Connections is a free automated matching service offered to our members. It monitors activity on a specific item and will send a notification to members who are tracking it.

Collection: A collection can be established by you, as a member, to store and track items that you own. As long as your profile and collection are public, other surfers and members will be able to find you by browsing the list of members who are tracking the item in their collection. Notifications will be sent to you whenever a member adds the item to their wish list or adds/changes a buy order for it.

Wish list: A wish list can be established by you, as a member, to store and track items that you would like to own. As long as your profile and wish list are public, other surfers and members will be able to find you by browsing the list of members who are tracking the item in their wish list. Notifications will be sent to you whenever a member adds the item to their collection or adds/changes a sell order for it.

Watch list: A watch list can be established by you, as a member, to store and track items that you would like to watch its activity. As long as your profile and watch list are public, other surfers and members will be able to find you by browsing the list of members who are tracking the item in their watch list. Notifications will be sent to you whenever any activity with the is detected.

Buy order: A buy order can be entered by you, as a member, to let others know you would like to purchase the item and for how much, depending on the grade. Other surfers and members will be able to find you by browsing the buy orders for that item. Notifications will be sent to you whenever a member adds the item to their collection or adds/changes a sell order for it.

Sell order: A sell order can be entered by you, as a member, to let others know you would like to sell the item you own and for how much, depending on the grade. Other surfers and members will be able to find you by browsing the sell orders for that item. Notifications will be sent to you whenever a member adds the item to their wish list or adds/changes a buy order for it. A limited amount of profile information, even if you have a private profile, will be made available on sell orders so that members can contact you to negotiate the sell.

Notifications are automatically generated and sent by Collector Point, however you can choose which notifications you want to receive or not from your account settings. Keep in mind that messages from members who contact you are stored in your personal mailbox, so if you opt out of receiving notification on new messages, you should check in often to see if there has been any interest in your items.

The idea behind Collector Connections is to provide our members with powerful tools for getting together with others who have an interest in the same item, whether that interest is in selling, buying or just the joy of collecting it. As more members let us know what they have and what they want, the more effective Collector Connections will be.
